Modélisation globale et locale des structures multicouches par éléments finis de plaque

Abstract : Within this thesis, global and numerical models are proposed for the ananlysis of composite multilayered structures. In the first part of the dissertation, we develop a new equivalent single-layer model dedicated to global analysis of this laminates, particularly to sandwich structures. The model's fundamental equations are similar to Reissner-Mindlin ones with pre-stresses. These pre-stresses are evaluated in an iterative manner starting from a classical solution. This model is implemented in ABAQUS finite element code using a post processing program for the iterative aspect. The validity of the proposed model is tested by several exemples in comparison with exact solutions and FE calculations. In the second part of this thesis, a new plate element based on the Multiparticule Model of Multilayered Materials (M4) of LAMY-ENPC is formulated for the local analysis of interlaminar stresses. This 8 nodes quadrilateral element is of C° continuity and has 5n d.o.f. per node (n is the layer'number of the laminate). The interlaminar stresses are determined in a straight forward manner from the consecutive equatins. A finite element program is developped for the implementation of this multiparticle element. The FE code obtained is validated then applied for free edge effects analysis. Finally an exemple of application of global-local analysis is presented using the FE models developped within this thesis.
