Traitement de contact entre corps déformables et calcul parallèle pour la simulation 3D du forgeage multicorps

Abstract : Nowadays, numerical simulation is a necessary industrial tool that saves time and money. FORGE3® multibodies software was developed within this framework, to make possible the treatment of a large number of deformable bodies with nonlinear constitutive equations like thermo-elasto-viscoplastic behaviour with large deformation. In this thesis, we present the developments that were carried out to take into account and to manage several deformable bodies of different rheologies. Therefore, a part of our work consisted in the implementation of a mechanical coupling between several deformable bodies which meshes do not match in the contact zone. The coupling is imposed by a penality method and a master/slave technique on the contact zone. The friction equations are integrated at the Gauss points by neglecting the relative movement of the bodies. In addition, a new pseudo-symmetrical formulation of the contact conditions is proposed, without overconstraining the problem. The referred methods are applied to solve the mechanical contact problem between deformable bodies and to treat the self-contact of the folds. In order to decrease the computational time, the methods have been parallelized by the S.P.M.D. (Single Program Multiple Dated) strategy. Referent applications underline the robustness of the developments that have been carried out and show the perspectives of our work.
