Etude du couplage thermomécanique dans la propagation dynamique de fissure.

Abstract : The objective of this work is to investigate the thermomechanical coupling in dynamic fracture mechanisms among others in the constitutive law. The problem of crack propagation is studied within the framework of classical thermodynamics. The consequences of the first and second principles are derived, in particular it is shown that the crack-tip behaves like a moving heat source. The singularities, then, the regularities of temperature are discussed. In elastodynamics, the asymptotic expansion of the coupled solution is given in linear elasticity and linear conductio! n. In dynamic plasticity, the mechanical and thermal response ! is simul ated by numerical analysis for instantaneous state motion and mode I loading. The fixed problem of crack is discussed under the assumption of adiabaticity. For a unidimensional restriction, the equations mechanics and thermics are uncoupled in all the structure with in crack-tip a simplified thermomechanical coupling. The obtained resultats are compared to experimental observations by flexion 3 points tests thermals instrumented.
