Influence des paramètres moléculaires du latex sur l'hydratation, la rhéologie et les propriétés mécaniques des composites ciment/latex

Abstract : In the mortars field, latexes are widely used as additives. Although they confer many advantages to the formulations, they are responsible for longer hydration times. To understand this increase of the hydration times and its effect on the rheological and mechanical properties of the cement/latex composites, the interaction of four families of latexes mixed to ordinary grey cement has been studied at the molecular and the mesoscopic scale. The main result is an important influence of the charges coming from the latex stabilization system and of the hydrosoluble molecules on the hydration reaction. There is no significant effect of these parameters on the rheological and the mechanical properties of the pastes.
