Fonction de charge générale en géomécanique: application aux travaux souterrains.

Abstract : This thesis addresses both behavioral and numerical aspects of the mechanical response of rock mass to excavation of a tunnel. The comparison of existing criteria focused on a few key points, such as dependence of the average stress criterion and the ratio of extension. A load function, easily identifiable from the tests in regular and convex, can reflect the shape of the envelope of Mohr's criterion, and expansion ratio has been proposed: one can thus achieve forms regularized Mohr-Coulomb criteria and Hoek-Brown. The development of this new test has been completed by the proposed method of digital charts, greatly speeding up the resolution. For the proposed test, the physical problem is equivalent to a purely geometrical, in polar coordinates in the plane. It may well be the digital charts allow direct value of plastic deformation, which reduces drastically the computing time calculation methods tunnels have been synthesized bibliographic indicating the areas and limits use of the methods used by engineers to size the tunnels. The modeling of tunneling was carried out using the stationary algorithm designed to calculate the behavior of systems subjected to moving loads. This algorithm has been programmed to integrate the new criterion and method of digital charts. The tools developed have been faced with a real case study, using data provided by the National Agency for Radioactive Waste (ANDRA) for the European project MODEX-REP (draft inserted through 5th EURATOM plan of the European Commission). The study of these data allowed to define a variable degradation of the rock, easily identifiable and to set the criterion for rock damage.
