This work has been dedicated to developing optical instrumentation for applications Biomedical. The technique we use is polarimetry. We have developed two instruments: a reflection Mueller polarimeter and a medical unit dedicated to the review cervix (colposcopy) for the degree of polarization imaging in real time. Applications were of two types: the visualization of radiological burns at a subclinical level and improving the diagnosis of cervical cancer.

Ce travail a été consacré au développement d'instrumentation optique pour des applications biomédicales. La technique que nous utilisons est la polarimétrie. Nous avons développé deux instruments : un polarimètre de Mueller en réflexion et un appareil médical dédié à l'examen du col utérin (colposcope) pour l'imagerie en degré de polarisation en temps réel. Les applications ont été de deux types : la visualisation des brûlures radiologiques à un niveau infraclinique et l'amélioration du diagnostic du cancer du col utérin.
