Développement d'un système de management intégré de l'éco-conception des appareillages électriques de moyenne tension

Abstract : Our work is integrated within the framework of a research program relating to the improvement of the environmental performances of the equipment of electric distribution of the Distribution and Research Centre of AREVA T&D. It acts to develop a step of ecodesign adapted to these products and the needs for the design team and consolidated on the environmental level. Our step was based on the analysis of the need for the various actors of the design team, the environmental evaluation of the existing products and the study of the design process used for the development of these products and of the ecodesign strategy of the company. Initially, we identified the ecodesign tools for the team of design. Then, the study of the existing design process enabled us to determine tracks of integration of the environmental parameters and ecodesign tools lasting the various phases of design. In addition, we studied a series of Life Cycle Assessments of different categories of medium voltage products what enabled us to determine the distribution of the environmental impacts in the life cycle phases. It leaves there that the use phase is the most polluting phase nevertheless very difficult to improve. The phase of distribution presents a very weak impact. That enabled us to focus our step on the phases of manufacture and end-of-life which have a potential of environmental improvement more important. Our approach of ecodesign is integrated into the existing system and is based on the association of the observance of the regulation, the satisfaction of the needs of the design team and the improvement of the environmental aspects with strong margin of improvement. Our research tasks enabled us to develop an ecodesign tool (DECOD) permitting to help the designer along the design process and more especially for the ecological arbitrations. The application of our tool on a case of study enabled us to confirm the reliability of our approach.
