Analyse des écoulements cavitants stationnaires et instationnaires dans les turbomachines

Abstract : ln turbomachines and more particularly in inducers, cavitation remains a very important subject. The quick improvement of turbomachinery industry combined with the recent progress in CFD, allow a numerical study, an analysis and a diagnosis of these machines to have a better knowledge of the flow characteristics in this kind of machines. Cavitation is a physical phenomenon which frequently appears in the hydraulics machines which work to the specific conditions of aspiration. It involves several undesirable effects in the industrial systems where it takes place. One can mention the generated noise, the erosion, the loss of performances of the machine and vibrations. ln this work, various numerical and experimental studies, allowing the analysis of the stationary and non-stationary flow occurred in the axial inductors were carried out. The identification of instabilities of the type alternate blade cavitation and rotating blade cavitation was studied.
