L'efficacité de la méthode augmente lorsque l'on utilise l'Inter 1D ligne. Le développement des autres partitionnements 1D définis dans le chapitre Intra 1D devrait encore accro??treaccro??tre l'efficacité de codage. L'application du critère d'´ elimination des prédicteurs du codage Intra a montré sa capacité capacitéà réduire le nombre de bits alloués au codage de l'indice du meilleur prédicteur. Les résultats préliminaires obtenus avec ce critère pour l'´ elimination des résolutions sous-pixelliques sont déjà déjàélevés. Le prolongement de cetté etude offre donc une perspective intéressante

Ceci, ensemble, avec un débit des indices qui pourraitêtrepourraitêtre réduit grâce au test d'´ egalité des prédicteurs, mais aussi paréliminationparélimination des indices de prédicteurs implicites et par cette méthode. Dans l'´ etat de l'art, nous avions vu que le principal axe de recherche pour l'amélioration du codage Intra prédictifprédictifétait l'augmentation du nombre de prédicteurs. La méthode permettrait donc d'augmenter l'efficacité de ces nouvelles compétitions en sélectionnant un nombre adapté de prédicteurs. Enfin, un codage Intra des résiduels de bloc provenant de la compensation de mouvement
