Métrologie instationnaire embarquée pour la modélisation du bruit à large bande dans les turbomachines.

Abstract : Noise pollution is one of the most significant environ mental concerns. The increase in comfort requirements and rigorous of European and global regulations make the noise reduction one of the most important issues for several industries. The main objective of this work is the development of modeling tools for broadband noise component radiated by axial fans in order to include it as an optimization criterion during their design process. Sweep is known to be influent on the noise radiated by a fan. Three fans with different sweep are compared in this report. A test bench able to carry out mean and unsteady pressure on the blade of the fans is designed and built. These data are needed as input in a trailing edge noise prediction model. Measured pressures spectra are compared with those obtain from models, and then used to obtain the far field acoustic spectra. Amiet's trailing edge noise model is used. This model is developed for airfoil, so it is adapted for fans. A RANS numerical simulation with a second order turbulence model is carried out on the three fans to get: overall efficiency at different flow rates, downstream velocities components profiles, components of the Reynolds stress tensor, pressure field on a blade and boundary layer data. Ali these data are compared with several experiments performed in a standard test bench allowing the air flow rate measurement.
