Abstract : We are now witnessing today a shift in the collective consciousness for the consideration of environmental design of industrial product. This reality led the industrial world to reconsider the development of standard tools of design and innovation to integrate environmental issues. Innovation, the major parameter of development and growth of the company, should also lead to eco-innovative concepts. Today, here are few methods of eco-innovation. It is essential to develop a method combining the analysis of the problem in the sense of sustainable development, formalization and selection of appropriate tools adequate resolution. Using the tools of eco-innovation will enable companies to adapt the concept of sustainable development across the emergence of their products. This integrated design can influence the patterns of production and consumption, anticipating the future needs of users and ensure the sustainability of society. This thesis is part of the mutation of the Method of Support for Innovation (MAL'IN) to a tool for eco-innovation. The current approach MAL'IN can analyze and structure a problem of product design, to formalize and solve it. Adapted for the preliminary phases of design, methodology is based on functional analysis, analysis of physical phenomena and the definition of bias attack the problem. The resolution calls for appropriate tools of the theory TRIZ and other tools developed in this framework. The challenges of the thesis concerns the integration of the vision for sustainable development in the current method MAL'IN through the structuring and implementation of environmental knowledge necessary at the stage of research and concepts and to develop this tool to a tool for eco-innovation. The thesis work involves the one hand, the integration of the environmental vision of the existing tools of the method MAL'IN particularly in the phase of analysis and formalization of the design problem and, secondly, the development of new tools for eco-innovation to adapt and structure the existing approach based on new data from environmental analysis of the product. All the proposed methods should provide coherent responses to the specification of the need to search for eco-innovative concepts. The developed method is suitable for all members of the group creativity, in particular, ensure that the expression of diverse skills and orientations of structuring and formalization is understandable and interpretable by the participants. Eco-innovation requires, among other things, product customization, a designer typically occurs within this framework. Tools should be designed to be interpreted by the intervenor.
