Modélisation et computation des processus cognitifs et informationnels en conception amont : une investigation chez les designers et les concepteurs.

Abstract : This research is related to the earliest phases of the innovative design process. These phases involve various professional skills which contribute to the concurrent engineering design process (design, cognitive ergonomics, marketing). The fronteers between these professions and skills is becoming more and more fuzzy and for this reason most of the representations used during the collective phases need to be understandable by everybody. This research was developped according to the following sequence (1) formalisation of the professional cognitive processes of design and cognitive ergonomics, (2) extraction of knowledge, rules, skills and routines (3) definition of new formalisms. These formalisms can be used for the partial computation of the phases of information, generation, evaluation and materialisation which compose the theoretical model. They are intended to be integrated into software computational design tools dedicated to the earliest phases of design. This research is positioned in design sciences and more precisely in the fields of Kansei Engineering, Emotional Design, Applied Creativity and Experience Design.
