Convertisseur à bancs de filtres hybrides utilisant des filtres à échantillonnage de charge pour applications de radio cognitive

Abstract : This thesis is part of a project named TEROPP (for Technologies for TERminals in OPPortunistic radio applications) sponsored by the ANR (the french National Research Agency) from 2008 to 2011. This project is aimed to design the key elements of a reconfigurable terminal for cognitive radio, from antennas to network considerations. The works described in this thesis focuses on a multi-path frequency agile RF frontal and specifically on digitization of a wide-band signal. We described and studied a new architecture based on the Hybrid Filter Banks (HFB) technique. An HFB il a parallel sub-sampling architecture that includes analog filters, analog-to-digital converters and digital processing. The major contributions of this work is to use band-pass charge sampling (BCS) filters as analog filters for the BFH. These filters are CMOS integrable and reconfigurables. Such architecture enables the digitization of a very wide band, while limiting the complexity and the consumption, and offers capacity of reconfigurability in terms of bandwidth and resolution.
