Développement de nouvelles réactions catalysées à l'or pour la synthèse organique

Abstract : Homogeneous gold catalysis has become in only a few years a very active research field. As part of my PhD research activities, I have developed a series of new methodologies based on the pronounced carbophilicity of gold(I) complexes. These transformations are based on the activation of alkynes by a catalytic amount of an electrophilic gold(I) complexe in order to trigger their funcitonalization either by the nucleophilic addition of carbon nucleophiles such as alkenes, alkynes, or aromatics, or the addition of heteoatoms such as oxygen. Notably gold(I) complexes have proved to be efficient for a series of transformations which are known to be difficult such as the transfer of an hydride onto an alkyne.
