Modélisation de l'orientation de fibres induite par l'écoulement et comportement élastique anisotrope à l'état solide

Abstract : The ame of this Phd is first to describe numerical techniques to predict fiber orientation during injection moulding of fiber reinforced polymers, and how the resulting part behaves regarding this process induced orientation. Some orientation models were summarized, and one model "Folgar and Tucker's equation" was considered for the description of fiber orientation. After injection process and solidification, our approach consider that the part has an anisotropic thermo-elastic behaviour. This behaviour is linked to the fiber orientation and, matrix and fibers properties. The prediction of this behaviour was carried out numerically and analytically and the two approaches was compared.
