# Forces et Fluctuations : Forces induites par l'agitation et reponse d'adhesifs moleculaires

Abstract : This manuscript is divided in three parts: (I) A study of fluctuation-induced forces between objects embedded in fluctuating media is reported. We fully characterize the non universal force distribution for some simple equilibrium cases. The concept of fluctuation-induced forces is also extended to soft materials driven out of equilibrium. (II)This part is devoted to the dynamic response of molecular stickers. First, we demonstrate that the standard interpretation of recent single molecule pulling experiments is intrinsically ambiguous. Second, we propose a simple design strategy for efficient molecular stickers, that can break along pathways characterized by multiple reaction coordinates ''. (III) We propose a simple a model to account for the elastic interactions experienced by soft/hard inclusions embedded in fluid membranes.
