Offre de travail individuelle et "collective" : applications empiriques à l'aide de données russes

Abstract : The thesis consists of four chapters. The first one presents the data used and proposes stability tests of the labor market participation and wage formation. The objective of the tests is to verify whether the corresponding parameters have been affected by the financial crisis of 1998 in Russia. The second one presents a structural model of labor supply allowing for double employment.
Chapters three and four propose new empirical applications of the collective model of household behavior.
The third one analyses the intra household sharing using a framework coming from the collective model theory. The sharing is measured by comparing the subjective levels of income and satisfaction. Using these data, two new approaches are proposed allowing for the full identification of the sharing rule.
The fours chapter analyses the sharing rule stability in the framework of the collective model. The empirical model admits both interior and corner solutions on working hours. The model is estimated using data from the RLMS (Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey). The episode of the financial crisis of 1998 is exploited to investigate the stability of the sharing rule.
