Prédiction des déformation permanentes des couches de surface des chaussées bitumineuses.

Abstract : This work is in the context of the evaluation the permanent behaviours of asphalt pavements.
The objective is to propose a model for the permanent deformations of bituminous materials and
to apply it to the prediction of the rutting phenomenon of bituminous pavements. In a first time,
a three dimensional multi-mechanism multi-criteria is proposed. This is a coupling of a customized
quadratic criterion with a linear Drucker-Prager type criterion. It is able to take into account a
number of mechanical behaviours of bituminous materials, of which the permanent deformations
under cyclic loadings. The validation of this model is carried out by the simulation of some cyclic
creep tests. In a second time, an improved approach is proposed while presenting a single surface
multi-mechanism model. The new model is capable of simulating not only cyclic loadings but also
static loadings. Some validations are presented which show the capacities and the relevance of
the new model. Finally, the proposed model is applied to the prediction of rutting of bituminous
pavements through its implementation in the ORNI module of the finite elements code CESA
