Un environnement d'aide aux ingénieurs basé sur une architecture en tâches et sur un module de visualisation de courbes. Application à la conception de procédés de raffinage

Abstract : In the field of chemical engineering, engineers trace curves to analyze experimental data. Once validated this knowledge is exploited, in combination with other information, in the form of tasks. This thesis presents an architecture capable of linking any kind of task and to draw the curves as a conceptual aid in the design of refining processes. The proposed architecture is based on an 'object' analysis of the reasoning mechanism including the concepts of relations (inversible or not) and flux from a static point of view and the notions of problems and tasks from a dynamic point of view. The visualization module employs all sorts of relations between the variables and relies on elaborate interpolation methods, of which two are new. The first is inspired by a priori examples as in case-based reasoning, and the second uses the notions of monotony and concavity to deduce lines within a group of points. The application is exposed in detail and leads to an analysis of the problems of conception. In this sense we have developed a new classification of the conception systems.
