Abstract : This thesis deals with the issue of the experimental study of quantum transport of matterwaves with ultracold atoms. Being easily controlable, they offer the opportunity to create ideal toy systems, particularly in view of testing condensed-matter theories. The full experimental apparatus is described in detail in the thesis. It enables us to carry out both 1D and 3D experiments, from the expansion of coherent matterwaves out of a Bose-Einstein condensate. We focus on the issue of quantum transport in disordered media, which leads to Anderson localisation. We cast back here the recent results in 1D, which allowed us to directly observe the phenomenon with matterwaves. Then, we show the first steps towards the direct observation of the Anderson transition which occurs in 3D systems. Finally, we present a study about a guided atom laser, which could be particularly suited to the study of quantum transport of matterawes, since it allows independant control of the energy of the matterwaves and of the atomic flux, from which interactions are originating. The limits of such a tool are given, linked to both the generation of the beam with a radiofraquency pulse, and its propagation in a waveguide.
