Inhibition de la corrosion d’alliages d’aluminium par des molécules organiques : approches théorique et expérimentale

Abstract : SOCOMORE, a company specialized in aeronautical applications, wants to increase its knowledge about corrosion inhibitors by understanding their mechanism of action based on their molecular structure. This knowledge will allow to optimize the formulas of the products developed by SOCOMORE. This problem has been approached with the help of an academic partner, the ENSCP Chimie-ParisTech Physical Chemistry Surfaces Laboratory, specialized in corrosion and using a modeling system that correlates results obtained by theory with results obtained by experimental practice. The aim of the thesis is to define the mechanism of two molecules with similar molecular structures at the atomic scale . For this, the work presents a theoretical part and an experimental part carried out jointly. This work will allow SOCOMORE to model and identify new corrosion inhibitors adapted to the passivation of metals used in aeronautics (aluminum alloys, steel, ...).
